Start with the business question
A transaction may be relevant to a workflow, but the reader often cares about something beyond its existence: whether access was delivered, whether a task was useful or whether a service met an obligation. Identify that wider question before choosing a technical record as the answer.
Describe the observable layer
A block explorer can be a route to transaction information. The specific fields and network context still matter. Avoid describing a transaction display as a complete business audit. A technical record and an off-chain fulfilment record can support different parts of the explanation. [C03]
Make an evidence ladder
Write the proposed conclusion at the top of a note. Beneath it, list the observations that would be needed: authorised instruction, recorded action, delivery confirmation and outcome assessment. Do not assume that every rung exists. This ladder is an editorial device, not a technical guarantee or financial evaluation.
Consider a document-access purchase
In a hypothetical example, a payment-related action occurs but a research document cannot be opened. The technical action and the delivery problem are not contradictory observations. They show why a transaction record alone is too narrow to establish the whole outcome. Preserve both facts rather than forcing them into one success label.
Report uncertainty constructively
A useful conclusion can state that one step is evidenced while another remains unverified. Tell the reader which document or test would resolve the gap. Resist counting visible activity as adoption, usefulness or satisfaction without the relevant context. Clear boundaries make later updates easier to interpret.
